The National Awards of Landscape Excellence is a way for Canada to recognize those companies that have actively participated in significantly raising the level of professionalism in the landscape industry.

The National Awards of Landscape Excellence is an initiative of Landscape Canada, commodity group of CNLA. Landscape Canada paved the way to get the Awards off the ground. It is because of the strong support of the sponsors, John Deere and Caterpillar, that the Awards continue to grow.

This year, seven provincial associations will enter their provincial awards winners to compete in the National Awards of Landscape Excellence. These provinces include: BC, AB, MB, ON, QC, NB and NS.

There are two categories for competition:

- Landscape Maintenance
- Landscape Construction/Installation

Each provincial association may enter up to three entries per category for a total of six entries per association.
