Following are the Membership Categories:
Interim:
Partnership, corporation or proprietorship actively engaged in one or more of the business categories shown below:
Nursery Grower, Landscape Contractor, Grounds Maintenance Contractor, Lawn Care Applicator, Arborist, Greenhouse Operator, Garden Centre Operator, Sod Producer, Irrigation Contractor, Landscape Designer or Horticultural Consultant.
On completion of a one-year probationary period as an Interim Member, you automatically move into the Active Member category.
Sponsorship is required when applying for Interim membership. Applicants are required to obtain the names of two sponsors who are current members of the Association and who are in a position to recommend your membership (i.e. have done business with you, worked on a project with you, or are aware of your work and business practices). The two sponsors must be from the Active or Associate member categories. Unlike some Associations that have a review committee to approve new members, SNLA applicants require only two sponsors and confirmation of: business liability insurance; proper business licensing; and a WCB account. It is important, therefore, that permission be obtained from sponsors prior to using their names in the application. We will confirm this with sponsors prior to an application being approved.

Active
After completing the one-year Interim membership, your companies automatically qualifies for the Active membership category. Fees for the Active category are based on your company's total gross revenue from the previous year. Find your sales range to determine your fee category.

Active and Associate members are automatically registered as members of the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA). LANTA membership dues include the annual membership fee that is submitted to CNLA.
Associate:
Businesses supplying material, products and/or services to the Green Industry.
Annual Fee: $457.00
Branch Listing (SK)
A Branch Office Listing is offered to branch/satellite offices of companies that maintain an Active or Associate membership in LANTA. This listing provides a branch office with: an individual business listing (in addition to the head office listing) in our annual LANDX membership directory, LANTA’s web site, all LANTA mailings, meeting notices and regular publications.
Annual Fee: $100.00
Affiliate:
Association, city, town, county, and municipal or improvement district. Institutions providing ornamental horticultural services e.g. hospitals, colleges, university, research facility, zoo or theme parks etc. Private or public golf courses.
Annual Fee: $125.00
Individual (SK)
Any individual involved in ornamental horticulture and not eligible for Active, Associate, or Affiliate membership. (You must not be involved in any commercial activity.) Individuals employed by non-member companies are not eligible for this category of membership. Some restrictions apply to this category.
Annual Fee: $75.00
